Wide-eyed Wonder

Supercar

Ferrucio Lamborghini was a wealthy tractor manufacturer before at the age of 47 in 1963 he ventured into the world of sports car manufacturing and built the famous line of cars that bear his name.

2006 was the 40th anniversary of the Miura model and also the 90th year since the birth of Ferrucio who died in 1993. This was enough for the Lamborghini Club UK to organise the Lamborghini Supercar Celebration over the weekend of 20/21st May.

The cars set off from Brooklands Motorsport and Aviation Museum at Weybridge. On Maderia Drive there were plenty of Lamborghinis on display for wide-eyed racer boys and others. I noticed just how many girlfriends had the job of taking photos of their boyfriends next to their favourite car!
